Mattermost Joins the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)
Today we’re announcing that Mattermost has joined the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) as a member.
The cybersecurity challenges facing Europe’s critical infrastructure and defence sectors are increasing in both scale and complexity. As digital systems become more interconnected across borders, resilience can no longer be addressed in isolation.
Protecting these environments requires coordinated action between the public and private sectors. Security practitioners, policymakers, and technology providers must be able to share threat intelligence, align response efforts, and operate with confidence across organisational and national boundaries.
That is the role ECSO plays. Bringing together over 300 members across Europe, the organisation connects the communities responsible for strengthening cybersecurity, policy, capability, and operational resilience across the region.
“The threats facing Europe’s critical infrastructure don’t respect organisational boundaries, and our defences shouldn’t either,” said Jason Blais, VP of Product and Program Management at Mattermost. “Effective defence depends on trusted coordination between the people responsible for protecting these systems. ECSO provides a forum for that collaboration at a European level, and we’re proud to contribute to that effort.”
As a collaboration platform trusted by defence, government, and critical infrastructure organisations worldwide, Mattermost brings deep experience in secure, sovereign collaboration to the ECSO community.
We look forward to working alongside Europe’s cybersecurity leaders and practitioners to support stronger, more coordinated cyber defence across Europe.
