Mattermost v11.2: Multi-window threads for web

Mattermost’s latest release includes new features designed to increase focus and improve productivity.

In particular, we’d like to highlight multi-window threads for the web app, which help users stay organized across parallel workstreams.

Multi-window threads now available in the Mattermost web app 

With Mattermost Desktop v6.0, we introduced a new Multi-View Architecture that lets users open, close, and manage multiple views or windows across the Mattermost experience, including Channels, Boards, and Playbooks. Starting in Mattermost v11.2, this capability extends to the web app with a new thread pop-out feature.

Click the icon in the upper-right corner of the threads pane to open the thread in a separate window, which you can position anywhere on your screen.
