This tool enables web search via Brave Search and Google Custom Search, with robust controls, including configurable result limits, custom API endpoints, and domain denylists to block specific websites.

Channel Context Summarization

Mattermost v11.5 introduces Channel Context Summarization, which enables teams to generate AI-powered summaries that help leaders and responders understand the situation, key decisions, and next steps without reading every message.
 
Users can now click the Ask Agents button at the top of a channel to generate summaries of unread messages or across specific date ranges. Summaries are generated using your preferred Agent (e.g., OpenAI, Mistral, or Bedrock) and include citations with links to relevant messages. After summaries are created, users can ask follow-up questions to dig deeper into discussions or surface action items — transforming long message threads into actionable insights in seconds.
