Mattermost Statement on COVID-19

With the rapidly changing developments in the spread of COVID-19 globally, protecting the health and safety of our staff, customers, and communities is of utmost importance to Mattermost. To keep our team members safe and to help limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, effective immediately, Mattermost is strongly discouraging international business travel and nonessential local travel for all staff at least through March 31, 2020. Our team is continuously monitoring the situation and will provide timely updates as they become available.

As a result, Mattermost will no longer be participating in some previously scheduled events, such as the Atlassian User Groups in Seattle and Toronto. While we regret not being able to meet in person with customers and community members at upcoming events, we are working on alternative ways to connect with our communities to share the content we were planning to present. Please stay tuned.

As a remote-first company that largely works from home with team members around the world, this change will not materially impact our day-to-day schedules. We have the processes, culture, and tools to continue effectively developing the Mattermost platform and are fully committed to continue serving our customers and communities.

With the situation rapidly evolving, Mattermost is taking the necessary precautions to protect our staff and limit the spread of COVID-19.
