Subprocessor Addendum
In connection with our provision of the Services, Mattermost and its affiliates may engage third parties (each a “Subprocessor”) to process your Personal Data. In certain circumstances an affiliate of Mattermost may even be a Subprocessor. As a condition of permitting a Subprocessor to process your Personal Data, Mattermost (and its affiliates as applicable) will enter into a written agreement with each Subprocessor containing data protection obligations at least as protective as the technical and organizational measures Mattermost has put into place to protect your Personal Data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access. All terms capitalized above, but not defined have the meaning set forth in Mattermost’s User Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and/or your applicable customer agreement with Mattermost.

Other entities involved in offering the Services
Mattermost may need to rely on Mattermost affiliates to help provide the Services to our users and their customers. Mattermost affiliates are not sub-processors, but they are other entities delivering elements of the Services to our users. The Mattermost affiliates involved in the processing of personal data will depend on the location of our users and their customers, and the nature of the services Mattermost is providing.
Depending on the geographic location of a Customer or their Authorized Users, and the nature of the Services provided, Mattermost may also engage one or more of its Affiliates as Subprocessors to deliver some or all of the Services provided to a Customer

Updates
As our business grows and evolves, the Subprocessors we engage may also change. We will endeavor to provide the owner of Customer’s account with notice of any new Subprocessors to the extent required under the Agreement, along with posting such updates here. Please check back frequently for updates.
