Mattermost Community

Mattermost launches Mattermost Superstars program for contributors

The new program recognizes top community members as Superstars and offers them a platform for broader developer outreach.

Mattermost Superstar

Mattermost is a flexible, open-source messaging platform that enables secure team collaboration.

From the 100 most popular features to more than 700,000 translations contributed to Mattermost, the open source community has had an enormous impact on the Mattermost open source project. We’ve recognized more than 1000 contributors with a customized mug  and our Contributor Wall of Fame keeps growing every month.

Today, we are proud to be launching a new Superstars program to elevate our top community members and recognize them as Mattermost Superstars. As a Mattermost Superstar, you will have a unique opportunity to help other developers in the open source community by writing blog posts or giving talks, organizing and attending meetups, presenting in events, and much more.

To help empower and recognize contributions, we offer the following benefits to our Superstars:

  • Promotion of published material, such as articles or talks
  • Shoutouts on Mattermost social media platforms
  • Unique Superstar swag
  • Superstar profile on Mattermost website
  • Invites to MatterCon and other Mattermost-sponsored events
  • … and much more!

Join the program today, and learn more at https://mattermost.com/superstars/.
